Early morning mist rises from the cold water of Alley Spring and flows around the summer vegetation and the 100 year old red mill, one of the Ozarks' most famous landmarks. Managed by the National Park Service, the spring and the mill are part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri.
